114. The Ex Files, Victoria Christopher Murray
This book is the equivalent of Desperate Housewives, with Christianity touch. A story of four different women who, not by choice, met up weekly in a prayer group to help them to cope with their break-ups. What makes the book interesting is that these women are so normal. They're not the goody goody Christian types, but the real human Christian, with many weaknesses which I am sure many Christian women could identify if they're really being honest with themselves. A small part of this book also gives me a new insight about suicide and Christianity.
The author wrote that there are four ways to handle a breakup. You can be faith-filled, faithless, weak-willed, and revenge-willed. Overall an interesting read. It's my first time reading Christian chick-lit, and I like it.
