A Thousand Splendid Suns, Khaled Hosseini

I finished the book in one single sitting. It was a page-turner. It was about two women's tale of survival in the country of Afghanistan. It was deeply moving, it stirred up so much emotions in me... anger, sadness, frustration, helplessness, gladness, gratitude. It made me even angrier at self-righteous religious nuts who misquote the Bible and Quran. It made me so sad and frustrated for the two main female characters. It was heartbraking.

I thought the ending was abit too hollywood style. But I'm glad for the slight happy ending.
