138. Abide with Me, Elizabeth Strout

A story of a minister who served in a church in a small town, where everybody knowns everybody's business. The minister's wife hated living there, and resented the people. She fell sick and passed away, and left two daughters. The story was about how the minister struggles to find the right words for his sermons and his conversation with those facing crises of their own, and to bring his five year old daughter out of the silence she has observed in the wake of the family's tragedy.

137. Annie May's Black Book, Debbie Holt

Quite a entertaning story of a woman who has recorded the name and offence of everyone who has ever done her wrong. And the greatest trangressor of them all was her ex-fiance who jilted her at the altar sevenyears before. And now he's moving into a house just around the corner.

136. The Right Attitude to Rain, Alexander McCall Smith

It's a novel with lots of philosophical thoughts. They were interesting and thought provoking. But the story itself... ugh, boring. Half way through the book, I still couldn't figure out what was the point of the story and where it was going. A huge fat disappointment. It's about a well off older woman who fell in love with a younger man, who was an ex-boyfriend of her niece. Just the thought of it was so wrong.
