170. Wedding Season, Katie Fforde

Typical chick lit.. about three friends who's struggling in their owns ways in their love life.

After the end of the 1st chapter, i already knew roughly how it was going to end. It was very boring and predictable. I didnt believe it was Sunday Times top ten bestseller... the author didnt has much imagination!!!

169. The Man of My Dreams, Curtis Sittenfeld

A very good reading, about a girl's journey in finding her mr. right. It feels familiar.. it's like reading "How i learned to love my men as much as i love my animals".

The character is very dorky and fascinating... lots of interesing insights. Enjoyable reading.

168. Perfect Match, Jodi Picoult

An assistant district attorney and her husband found out their 6 yrs old was sexually abused. Overcome by anger and desperate for vengeace, she decided to take justice in her own hands.

The book is a page turner, as any other Picoult's book. But doesnt leave that much impression.

167. The Waitress, Melissa Nathan

I didnt think i would read another book by her... I hated her other book 'The Nanny'. Some parts of this book remind me of 'the nanny'.. very very frustrating to read with all misunderstandings, less than positive councidences, ... but overall an enjoyable read of chicklit. About a girl who can't commit who's working as a waitress while she waits and decides what she wants to do with her life. Then the cafe where she works is taken over by the man she had the worst date with.

It's quite funny too.. so it's quite entertaining to read. Much much much better than the nanny.

166. The Potato Factory, Bryce Courtenay

It was quite hard to read.. I skipped alot of part. But overall, Bryce Coutenay was still an amazing and creative author.

165. This Side of Married, Rachel Pastan

A Story of three sisters and their overbearing mother. The mother's goal is to see each of her daughters happily married and pregnant. The daughters, each in her own way, struggle to obtain the good life, which includes finding the ideal spouse.

164. The 19th Wife, David Ebershoff

The book was part fiction part biography. It was a rather interesting insight into the life of a polygamy community. Fascinating, intruiging.

163. Down Under, Bill Bryson

Very very funny author. The book made me love Australia even more, though am not an australian myself. His ponders on the cricket game made me burst out laughing.. actually, i think i found myself laughing outloud on many many times while reading this book. His final thought was about Australia was: if the country is so hostile, how come the natives are so laid back and relaxed?

162. The Charming Man, Marian Keyes

Painfully long and boring chick lit.

161. The Boy With the Stripped Pajama, John Boyne

Innocent. Sad. Realistic. Good. Did not dare to watch the movie cause i know i'd cry a bucket.

160. Last Chance Saloon, Marian Keyes

Found the book in a hotel in Brunei Darusallam. Very random. But it's a very funny book.. i wasnt able to put it down. Either because the book was that entertaining or simply because i need to check out the hotel the following morning so i had to finish it overnight. The story is about three friends who discover a new way of living after being hit by different wake up calls. Liking it.

159. Testimony, Anita Shreve

Can't put it down. A novel about how three boys in a private school became involved in a sexual assault with a 14 yrs old. Very sad, very confronting, and probably very realistic.
